Is power washing effective in removing pollutants and oxidation from the curtain wall on my building?

Power washing will remove only very light soil on metal surfaces. Generally, oils from silicone sealant, surface oxidation, chalking and moderate to heavy soil are not removed with this cleaning method.

Do you sell, install or fabricate curtain wall materials?

No, but we can direct you to the appropriate source for your need.

Can you provide your services outside of the Chicago area where you are based?

Yes, we have restored the curtain wall on buildings in many states including California, Minnesota, Ohio, Washington State, Utah, Florida, Kentucky, Indiana, Michigan, Missouri and others.

Do you subcontract the work to others?

We do not subcontract. All projects are serviced by Alumitec personnel trained in the restoration and maintenance of curtain wall.

Will you train my window cleaner to clean our building?

No, window cleaners are not knowledgeable about the metals incorporated into curtain wall and generally do not have the skill or patience to provide the level of service provided by Alumitec.
